My start in health is probably different than most. I always loved being in the gym and being mindful of certain foods, but I also had a severe eating disorder that I hid from everyone. A huge turning point was a weekend I spent extremely sick from diet pills and not eating. After that, I did a complete change in my life. I really focused on getting myself healthy and overcoming food phobias. However, I had not initially set out to be a coach. My journey started when I had received some devastating life altering news, and I really needed an outlet. I first started teaching Spin class at a local YMCA. That wasn't fulfilling so in 2019 I decided to get my personal trainers' certification. While I enjoyed training people, I felt it wasn't enough to help my clients so, I dived into nutrition and education. I worked with several mentors to help me learn the art of coaching and to round out my knowledge of health and fitness. I strive to bring the best quality of coaching that I can so my clients will also feel just as empowered as I do now!
